Town Government

Serving the people since 1902

The Town of Gore, known as the Trout Capital of Oklahoma, consists of 5 Wards. The Town elects each Trustee at large, and they must reside within the ward from which they are chosen. The five trustees then vote to appoint Mayor and Vice Mayor.

Robin Henry - Mayor

Robin was elected to the Gore Town Board of Trustees in April 2021. Gore is a place that Robin loves, having lived here for over forty years. She and her husband Kurt have raised their children here and are also happy to see their grandchildren growing up here. Robin has been a business owner in Gore for over 20 years. Before that, she worked at Armstrong Bank for twenty years. She is proud to call this place her home. As a board member, she believes Gore can be more supportive of local businesses, more encouraging of tourism, more responsive to citizens, and a more beautiful place to live. “There has always been an abundant natural beauty and friendly people in Gore.”

Larry Pack - Vice Mayor

Larry Pack is a lifelong resident of Gore and has worked at Georgia Pacific for 25 years. Together, he and Tammy, his wife, have six grandchildren. Larry aims to see the Town of Gore grow and maintain excellent water and sewer systems.

Matt Holland - Trustee, Ward #3

Matt Holland has been a trustee on the Board since May 2021. Matt was raised in Cleveland, Oklahoma, but has called Gore his home for over ten years. He graduated with a business degree from Oklahoma State University in 2008. Matt is a small business owner along with his wife Whitney, and together they have three children. He loves the town of Gore and is excited to raise his children in the same community the family has been in for generations.

Dr. Joni Couch - Trustee, Ward #4

Dr. Couch grew up in Vian, Oklahoma, and attended Northeastern University in Tahlequah. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2000 and a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science in 2002. In 2005, she graduated from Northeastern State University College of Optometry as a Doctor of Optometry. She is a practicing optometrist who has lived and raised a family in Gore for several years.

Randy Foley - Trustee, Ward #5

Randy has been a lifelong resident of Gore. This has given him a deep love for the blessings and beauty nestled within the town’s two square miles, encompassed by the waters of the McClellan–Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, Lake Tenkiller, and the Illinois River. He was appointed trustee in February 2024. He has been married to his best friend Jill for 32 years, and they were blessed with three children. After working many years in fiscal services and AR, Randy retired from the Department of Veteran Affairs in 2012. Retirement allowed him to do exactly what he loves: caring for his mother, spending quality time with his family, and selling fireworks. Randy and family are licensed firework wholesalers and seasonal retailers, running and operating numerous retail stands and tents in and around the area. He is honored to get the opportunity to serve as Ward 5 Trustee in the place he has called home for over five decades. He is excited to be working with the mayor and trustees on the important business of today as well as a longer, forward-looking plan to ensure the town’s government is ready and able to lead in times of need.  Randy asks that we find ways to heal, come together and all work together for a better tomorrow.
