The Gore Police Department is an essential part of the community, providing important services to keep residents safe and secure!

The Gore Police Department has 5 full-time officers and 5 part-time or reserve officers. The Department is constantly growing and training to meet the needs of our community. We are composed of a small team of officers who work closely with the community to ensure safety and security.

Jeremy Walters - Chief of Police

Jeremy Walters has dedicated his entire career to law enforcement, with a commitment to serving and protecting the community. He has over 13 years of experience in policing, rising through the ranks and serving in a variety of roles before being appointed as the police chief. As police chief, Jeremy is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the police department, including operations, budget, and personnel management. He has a track record of implementing innovative programs and initiatives to improve community policing and increase public trust in law enforcement. Jeremy is known for his strong leadership skills and his ability to inspire and motivate his team to achieve their goals. In January 2023 Jeremy Walters swore in the be Chief of Police.

Tracy Christenberry - Assistant Chief of Police

Tracy Christenberry was sworn in as Gore's Assistant Chief of Police in 2023. He has a passion for serving the community and has dedicated over 25 years to Law enforcement!
