The Gore Police Department is an essential part of the community, providing important services to keep residents safe and secure!

The Gore Police Department has several full-time officers and additional part-time or reserve officers. The Department is constantly growing and training to meet the needs of our community. We are composed of a small team of officers who work closely with the community to ensure safety and security.

Randy Taylor - Chief of Police

Randy Taylor proudly serves as the Chief of Police for the Gore Police Department. A lifelong resident of Gore and graduate of Gore High School, Chief Taylor brings over 18 years of law enforcement experience to the role. Chief Taylor is committed to community-first policing, focusing on building trust, transparency, and strong relationships between the department and the citizens of Gore. His leadership emphasizes accountability, proactive crime prevention, and public engagement. Outside of law enforcement, Chief Taylor is deeply involved in youth sports and community programs.

Municipal Court (schedule subject to change) is held at Gore Town Hall, 201 S Main St., at 6 pm, on the second Monday of each month.
